Dear All: Time flies! Tomorrow morning I'll be on the flight to go back Los Angeles. Seems I just get to Melaka for the CCCOWE missions prayer conference and now the 3 weeks passed. Thank you for praying for my ministries in Manado and Surabaya. Both church are well established and having some holistic ministries. The Gloria church in Surabaya has great history. Dr. Stephen Tong and some famous servants of God are from this church. Over the last 80 years they have more than 100 gifted young people dedicated their lives to serve God. The church also has great burden for missions. They plan to have next year focus on missions as a "year of missions".I was privileged to be received and shared at their Midweek prayer meeting with 150 attended and Friday afternoon lady's fellowship with about 100 there. This morning's services started at 6:30 and already around 500 there. The mother's day celebration was good with several choirs singing and 25 baptized. the second service started at 8:45 with also around 400 attended. This is a church of great potential. Pray that both the church in Manado and Surabaya will become missionary sending churches. It's certainly great to connect together with them. There's important meeting of CMI to follow from 5/12-15.It's the annul CMI's int'l standing committee. Please keep praying for us. Praise God that we are coworkers in His Great commission. God bless you! In Christ, Jonathan Chiu/from Surabaya

Dear All: The last 5 days in Manado is truly of God's grace. All the 6 meetings went very well. God gave me the freedom and the translators are all good. I even learn some Indonesians like Terima Kasih(thank you), or Tuhan Mamberkati(God bless you). If I stay longer probably I'll pick up more. The Indonesian language is very expressive and exciting and I like it. I mainly share about church's Mission from God and pray that the church in Manado can become a missionary sending church. Because the weather is unstable and have occasional rain showers so I told my host not to take me to the other island which is known to be one of the top ten island for diving. It did rained very heavily yesterday. It's good to save the good things for next time. I appreciate the hospitality and warmth of the church and their faith in inviting and accepting me as one they don't know before. May the Lord bless them. I am going to Surabaya this noon and there will be 5-6 meetings too. Covet your prayers again and thank you for standing by me. In Christ, Jonathan Chiu
